Kandy Donut - Dragon
Product Details
The Kandy Donut Dragon Jade Pendant pairs a softly rounded green Burmese jadeite donut with a delicate dragon bail accented with diamonds. Crafted in solid 18K yellow or gold, the sculptural dragon detail brings a more intricate, symbolic character to the clean circular jade form, while the natural diamond accents add subtle brilliance without overwhelming the stone.
Part of the Kandy Collection, this pendant offers a fresh take on classic jade jewellery. The collection brings together petite jade donuts and discs in natural, untreated Burmese jadeite, finished with solid 18K gold for a refined, contemporary look.
A Delicate Dragon Detail
The dragon bail gives the classic Kandy Donut a more expressive and intricately detailed finish. Its flowing form introduces movement and visual interest to the pendant, while the solid 18K gold setting keeps the design polished and refined.
Green Burmese Jadeite
The jadeite is characterised by its natural green colour, with a rich, polished appearance that gives the pendant depth and presence. Variations in tone, translucency and texture are inherent to natural jade, ensuring that each piece has its own individual character.
Diamond Accents
Natural diamond accents set into the dragon bail add a subtle point of brilliance to the design. Their sparkle complements the richness of the green jade while bringing a refined fine-jewellery finish to the sculptural setting.
The Enduring Symbolism of Jade and Dragon
The jade donut’s continuous circular form symbolises harmony, wholeness and balance, while jade has long been associated with protection and auspiciousness.
The dragon is traditionally associated with strength, power, wisdom and good fortune, adding a bold symbolic layer to the pendant’s design.
Individually Shaped from Natural Jade
Each Kandy Donut is individually shaped and polished from natural jadeite, with subtle variations in colour, patterns and proportions that reflect the stone’s natural character and the craftsmanship behind every piece.
Finishing Touches
Each pendant is accompanied by a complimentary silver chain, with solid 18K gold chains available separately.
