Kandy Disc Classic Jade Pendant - Icy Deep Green
Product Details
With its smooth, flat profile and effortless simplicity, the Kandy Disc Classic Icy Deep Green Jade Pendant is distinguished by the richness of its colour and the clarity of its jadeite. Selected for its deep green tone, fine texture and icy translucency, the jade has a luminous depth that gives the piece a refined, jewel-like presence. Finished with a classic solid 18K gold bail and offered in 18K yellow or white gold, the setting remains understated, allowing the natural colour and character of the jade to naturally draw the eye
Part of the Kandy Collection, this pendant offers a fresh take on classic jade jewellery. The collection brings together petite jade donuts and discs in natural, untreated Burmese jadeite, finished with solid 18K gold for a refined, contemporary look.
A Graceful Disc Silhouette
The Classic Disc is defined by its flatter, polished profile, creating a clean and streamlined expression of the traditional circular jade form. Its simple proportions place emphasis on the surface, colour and translucency of the jade, giving the piece a distinctly modern feel.
Premium Icy Deep Green Jade
The jadeite has been selected for its rich deep green colour, fine texture and icy translucency. Light moves through the stone to reveal subtle depth within the colour, creating a radiant quality that softens the intensity of the green and enhances its natural character.
The combination of saturated colour and translucency gives this piece a more elevated presence, while natural variations in tone and texture ensure that each pendant remains individual.
The Enduring Symbolism of Jade
The jade disc’s continuous circular form symbolises harmony, wholeness and balance. Circular jade forms have also long been associated with protection, auspiciousness and enduring connection, giving the design a meaning that extends beyond its simple silhouette.
Individually Shaped from Natural Jade
Each Kandy Disc is individually shaped and polished from natural jadeite, giving every pendant its own character. Because no two pieces of jade are identical, variations in colour, translucency, texture, pattern and natural inclusions are inherent to each piece.
The depth of green, translucency, proportions and overall appearance may also vary subtly from pendant to pendant, reflecting the individual nature of natural Burmese jadeite and the craftsmanship of each finished piece.
Finishing Touches
Each pendant is accompanied by a complimentary silver chain, with 18K gold chains available separately.
