Classic Jade Disc - Ginkgo
Product Details
Inspired by the graceful form of the ginkgo leaf, the Classic Jade Disc Ginkgo Jade combines natural Burmese jadeite with sculptural gold detailing. Apple green patterning moves across the smooth white disc, bringing subtle variation and a sense of organic movement to the design. The solid 18K matte yellow gold bail introduces a warm, textural accent, balancing botanical expression with a clean, contemporary silhouette.
A Botanical Ginkgo Detail
The ginkgo leaf bail introduces an organic, sculptural element to the classic disc silhouette. Crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a matte finish, its fan-shaped form adds softness and movement while creating a subtle contrast against the polished jade.
White Jade with Apple Green Pattern
The jadeite features a soft luminous white base with natural apple green patterning, giving the disc a light, distinctive character. The contrast between the pale ground colour and brighter green areas creates visual movement across the polished surface, while natural variations in tone, translucency and pattern ensure that every piece remains individual.
The Enduring Symbolism of Jade and Ginkgo
The continuous circle of the jade disc represents wholeness and harmony, while jade has long been cherished as a symbol of protection and auspiciousness.
Paired with the ginkgo leaf, a botanical emblem of longevity, resilience and strength, the design brings together two enduring symbols of balance and perseverance.
Individually Shaped from Natural Jade
Each jade disc is individually shaped and polished from natural jadeite, giving every pendant its own character. Because no two pieces of jade are identical, variations in colour, translucency, texture, pattern and natural inclusions are inherent to each piece.
The proportions and distribution of the white and apple green pattern may also vary subtly from pendant to pendant, reflecting the individual nature of natural Burmese jadeite and the craftsmanship of each finished piece.
Finishing Touches
Each pendant is accompanied by a complimentary silver chain, with solid 18K gold chains available separately.
